Effective Methods Skin Care

Effective Methods Skin Care
The most effective methods to combat acne include a combination of prevention and better skincare.

Here are some ways you can use to prevent and treat acne:

Exercise
Regular exercise can help fight acne while combating negative stress levels that can become a negative self-esteem and depression. But avoid wearing tight lycra and nylon used in clothing. These synthetic fabrics that tend to trap moisture and body heat, creating an ideal environment for bacteria to grow. Capture loose clothing of cotton or natural blends, and keep your sports gear and clean.

Second Safe Cosmetics
To avoid clogging of the pores and skin irritations that can contribute to acne, use products labeled "noncomedogenic" or "oil". Opt for "hypo-allergenic" perfumes and cosmetics to avoid allergic reactions and skin irritations. Coal tar derivatives, carmine and heavy cream in blushes can cause reactions. Shimmering colors of the face can contain a flaky mineral called mica that can cause skin irritations and clog pores. Use a matte lipstick less pore-clogging. More brilliant, more comedogenic content and more may clog the pores.

Three Healthy Eating
Studies show that diet plays an important role in the cause or the treatment of acne. However, what is best for your body is best for your skin. So make sure you get enough vitamins, minerals and supplements that have been known and recommended to prevent and help conquer acne breakouts. These include

Hormones (or lack thereof) in recent years - especially women - can play a role in acne flare-ups and prevention. A recent study showed that about 50 percent of women have acne, referred to as hormonal acne, problems during the week before menstruation.

Treatment options include topical retinoids, oral antibiotics and Benzoyl Peroxide for teen years. For adults oral contraceptives or hormonal birth control pills and hormone replacement therapy (HRT) may be useful for women, in combination with systemic and topical treatments, products or drugs without prescription.

Shave
Shaving is actually an excellent way of exfoliating or removing dead skin cells to help prevent and spreading of acne instead of leaving the remains to clog pores. And for some light acne cases already in progress, shaving can help rid your white and black face. Do not shave areas that are painful or infected. Use a shaving cream for sensitive skin. Shave with a sharp knife. Use gentle stroll instead of heavy pressure and go with the flow or "grain". A single-edged blade is better than the double razor blade. Electric razors may not shave as close to the skin, but to help prevent skin rashes and outbreaks of acne and more.

Stress
Stress factors include internal and external stress. External stressors are those that compromise your skin's ability to heal, like oily make-up and too much sun. Internal stressors like anxiety, fear, low self-esteem, depression and a variety of other internalized emotions, can trigger chemical reactions inside your body that can lead to acne breakouts and other skin irritations.

To fight against internal stressors and prevent acne problems, get plenty of rest and sleep. Try to keep regular hours. Keep a list of "things that reassure you" handy for stressful times, like reading a book, relax, listen to music, take a walk, going out for an ice cream cone, etc.
